THE WHINING MAGGOTS

Were a delightful one-off project between myself, Paul Raggity (Raggity Anne) and Sebby Zatopek (Werecats/Zatopeks). In 2002 (I think) I had a bunch of songs I’d written in the pop-punk style which didn’t fit with Bullet of Diplomacy and I wanted to record them. I sent the demos to Paul and he sent them to Sebby. We didn’t meet up beforehand, just went to the studio and laid it all down, working on the fly to create one of my favourite albums I’ve ever made. Better still, we didn’t release it until 2020 and have done nothing to promote it. It’s just our dirty little secret. Until now…
