STRANGELY SHAPED BY FATHERS

My current ongoing music project. I hesitate to call it a “band” even though it technically sounds like a band because it is all just me. A one-man punk band as I mess about with Garageband and Logic Pro and have a great time turning my ideas into fully formed music. This started out with the intention of being more personal and less political than my previous output - and my album, 86, deals with grief and the death of my parents - but as I continued to write, especially the EP, Finding Me, what I found was that I couldn’t keep the politics at bay any longer. Now I’ve “found myself”, Strangely Shaped by Fathers reflects the classic old adage that the personal is the political.
