Hands down the most influential fanzine of my teenage years and a big inspiration for so many things I did and have done, it was an honour to get two guest columns published in MRR…
June 2000, MRR cover: The issue containing my column "Why I Don't Want to Have Kids"

3/3 - it's 2020 now. I've been happily married for over a decade and still no kids :-)
A few months later, September, 2000, and my guest column here is about "Protesting - What Are We Fighting For?" I turned this article into a pamphlet about non-violence which my friend and I handed out the following year at the next May Day protests. We got kettled by the police and stopped and searched. They tried to get on side by telling me they liked Faith No More, the band I was listening to on my walkman. I just remembered them violating my rights and didn't need a new friend.
